16 au 19-10-2022 - Symposia at SES 2022 Annual Technical Meeting - Texas A&M University

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are organizing two symposia at the SES 2022 Annual Technical Meeting (https://na.eventscloud.com/website/33592/home/) to be held at Texas A&M University (TAMU) from October 16-19, 2022:

1.      The first symposium is entitled “Effective Properties of Multifunctional Composite Materials”. The details of the symposium can be found at:  https://na.eventscloud.com/website/33592/6-4

2.      The second symposium is entitled “Modeling the Interaction of Anelasticity, Damage and Environmental Effects in Polymer Composites”. The details of the symposium can be found at: https://na.eventscloud.com/website/33592/6-11

It is our great pleasure to request that you submit an abstract and present your research at one of the two symposia.

The tentative deadline for abstract submission is May 16th, 2022.

Texas A&M University is located in College Station, Texas, which is in the heart of the Houston-Dallas-Austin triangle. In the past, TAMU has successfully hosted 1994, 2002, and 2015 SES meetings. The SES 2022 conference at TAMU will feature more than 80 symposia planned within eight technical thematic areas – Biomechanics & Mechanobiology, Data Science & Machine Learning, Fluid & Granular, Manufacturing & Infrastructure, Multifunctional & Multifield, Robotics & Controls, Soft & Flexible, and Solids & Structures – as well as medalist and special symposia. The meeting will also feature plenary talks, poster presentations, and student poster competitions. So, please also encourage your students to submit abstracts for poster presentations.

We look forward to seeing you in College Station and learning of your most recent and exciting findings!

All the Best,

Fodil Meraghni, Arts et Métiers Institute of Technology

George Chatzigeorgiou, CNRS
Gary Seidel, Virginia Tech University
Björn Kiefer, TU Bergakademie Freiberg
