04 to 06/09/2017: 44th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology
The Organizing Committee is excited to announce the 44th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology ‘Tribomotion, where Performance and Motion meet Friction’, to be held in Lyon from Monday 4 to Wednesday September 6, 2017.
This Leeds-Lyon Symposium will focus on the relationship between motion and friction, and how to improve the systems’ performance through tribological considerations. Examples of areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Sports and leisure activities, areas in which motion is a major parameter,
- Mechanical transmissions, where complex geometry or kinematics superpose,
- Biomechanical applications, such as the human joints or the eyelid.
Thus the Symposium will aim to gather researchers from very diverse scientific and technological backgrounds to share expertise and discuss on how to apply their skills to address these important problems.
Those wishing to participate at the 44th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology are invited to submit their abstract by the 24th of February 2017 at the latest, through the website http://leeds-lyon.sciencesconf.org/ and in accordance to the proposed topics (call for abstracts https://leeds-lyon2017.sciencesconf.org/data/pages/Call_for_abstracts_Leeds_Lyon_2017_final.pdf )
