June 24th-26th 2019 - 12th edition of the International Conference on Multiaxial Fatigue and Fracture - Bordeaux (France),
The deadline for submitting your abstract to ICMFF12 (The 12th International Conference on Multiaxial Fatigue and Fracture) is shifted to January 7th, 2019.
To submit your abstract, please visit www.icmff12.org/submission (One abstract = One A4 page maximum in PDF according to the template given in the submission page).
We remind you that the aim of this conference is to share the latest developments in multiaxial fatigue and / or fracture by scientists and engineers from all over the world.
Please pay attention that fracture under mixed modes is in the field of this conference even without cyclic loading. Furthermore, papers dealing with fatigue under uniaxial macroscopic loading can be proposed provided that a multiaxial approach is employed. For instance, the modeling studies dealing with microstructure and fatigue often show that, even if a remote uniaxial loading is applied, the local stress state is seldom uniaxial. The idea is hence to promote the “multiaxial way of dealing with fatigue issue” regardless of the loading applied.
All the types of materials and structures are concerned including metallic alloys, composite, wood, concrete, rubber, polymers, etc. New researches as well as applications in industry are of interest. This conference is a good opportunity for experimentalists, theoreticians, industrial practitioners and academic experts to discuss current progress and build a bridge between their areas of expertise.
After Seville in 2016, this is the 12th conference in a series of successful conferences dedicated to this topic held every three years.
Papers on experimental set-ups, materials behaviour both modelling and characterisation, loadings, analytical models, numerical models, fatigue, fracture, theoretical models, applications ... are all welcome.

ICMFF12 will be the occasion to meet both experts from Universities and Industries, to share recents results in multiaxial fatigue and fracture on all materials but also on industrial components. We expect effective and intense discussions on new advances but also on open problems and questions as well as on modeling as on experiments.
